"I am so sorry to receive news today of the death of ED BRADFORD. Ed was one of the greatest TV time salesman in Phoenix at both Channel 12 (where I got to know and work with him) and Channel 10. He gave it all up to join the ministry and built a very successful First Assembly of God church in Casa Grande. Afterwards he went to work for the denomination and then retired with his wife Dawn to Prescott. He was an exceptional person and friend. His service is planned for Prescott Crossroads Church, 1pm, Saturday, April 18."
Pastor Ed Bradford, 88, of Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away on March 29, 2026.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Dawn Anna Bradford; his children, Sherrill Gaydosz (John), Darren Bradford (formerly married to Christina Heid), and Janet Bishop; his grandchildren, Nick Banda (Katie), Zach Davis (Kayla), Lauren Yoder (Kyle), Kara Williams (Sam), Emily Brinkin (Michael), Austin, Olivia & Mattie Bradford, James & Lexie Dixon; his great-grandchildren, Jazzmyn Bradford, Xavier Barajas, Nicky Jr, Gauge, Sophia, & Lyla Banda, Zach Jr, Lucas & Jacob Davis, Jackson Bradford, Hannah, Jaxon, & Conner Yoder, and Micah Brinkin; and many more beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Bradford.
Born in Cimarron, New Mexico, to Chester Monroe and Eva Bradford, Ed attended Nelson University in Waxahachie, Texas. Before entering full-time ministry, he worked in sales with Rainbow Baking Company, Sulbrook Services, and as a TV Advertising Executive at KTSP (Channel 10) and KTAR (Channel 12).

Ed began his ministry at just 14 years old and dedicated his life to serving others and sharing his faith. He served in leadership roles at Phoenix First Assembly of God, Valley Cathedral, and Casa Grande First Assembly of God, where he pastored for 17 years.

He also founded Gateway Productions, a ministry that reached millions through professional athletes sharing their faith. A 1979 Super Bowl commercial following MVP Terry Bradshaw’s victory brought an overwhelming response, with phone lines filled for hours.
Ed’s impact extended beyond the church through initiatives such as The Lighthouse youth center and Caring Center Child Development, one of the first nationally accredited preschool programs in Pinal County.

Pastor Ed will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for people, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Crossroads Church, 2024 E Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, Arizona, with Tim Hill officiating.
